what's happening at
The BLVD KITCHEN in Sherman Oaks, CA is my home away from home. The brainchild of Sharon Graves, BLVD Kitchen is a hybrid of retail (highlighting the works of local craftspeople), commercial kitchen, and entertainment space. I've been there since the beginning - making artisan soups, sauces and breads under my KIDDOC brand, teaching culinary classes, and helping with events. I wanted to be able to share what we do at BLVD, as my peeps there are very special, inspired, talented, and fun. And boy, do we have FUN!
DR. JJ's UPCOMING CLASSES
July 20 - Chef's Table! We'll be going South of the Border to enjoy a Mexican/Baja feast - think queso, shrimp tacos, carnitas, margarita cheesecake...and bring on the tequila!
July 26/August 9 - ARTISAN BREADS - Part 1 and 2! During each class you'll master 3 kinds of bread - sourdough, ciabatta, jewish rye, bagels, flatbreads, brioche and other yummy creations. Each class can stand alone, but taking the series will equip you with a bucket full of recipes and techniques to amaze and dazzle your friends and family.
