The BLVD KITCHEN in Sherman Oaks, CA is my home away from home.  The brainchild of Sharon Graves, BLVD Kitchen is a hybrid of retail (highlighting the works of local craftspeople), commercial kitchen, and entertainment space. I've been there since the beginning - making artisan soups, sauces and breads under my KIDDOC brand, teaching culinary classes, and helping with events. I wanted to be able to share what we do at BLVD, as my peeps there are very special, inspired, talented, and fun. And boy, do we have FUN!


January 10 - Sensational Salads: just in time for your New Years’ Resolution, we’ll make some inspired salads, fresh healthy dressings, and ring in 2019 with 5 a day!

January 22 - GLOBAL SOUPS AND STEWS: We’ll cook in crockpots, pressure cookers and on the stovetop creating lovely, healthy soups from Asia, Italy, Mexico and Morocco. 

February 4 - ARTISAN JEWISH BREADS: What can I say? Rye, bagels, challah?

February 15 - JEWISH SWEETS WORKSHOP: You'll be making Tzimmes (with dried sour cherries, apricots, apples and lemon), Challah Bread Pudding with Gran Marnier orange creamsicle sauce, Hamantaschen (dairy free dough) with dried berry filling, Tropical Coconut Macaroons

March 1 (just in time for Mardi Gras) CHEF’S TABLE NEW ORLEANS: BYOB, a date or friend, and prepare to be pampered in the best way possible! Tonight we head to the Big Easy, with a menu that includes Wild Mushroom Soup, Shrimp and Andouille over Cheesy Grits, Biscuits, and a Brown Butter Fig Tart.
