The BLVD KITCHEN in Sherman Oaks, CA is my home away from home. The brainchild of Sharon Graves, BLVD Kitchen is a hybrid of retail (highlighting the works of local craftspeople), commercial kitchen, and entertainment space. I've been there since the beginning - making artisan soups, sauces and breads under my KIDDOC brand, teaching culinary classes, and helping with events. I wanted to be able to share what we do at BLVD, as my peeps there are very special, inspired, talented, and fun. And boy, do we have FUN!
Teaching is part of my DNA and I love opening up students’ hearts and minds to what can be enjoyed and accomplished in the kitchen. Too often chefs are aloof, unapproachable, and just plain intimidating. You’ll find NONE of that in my classes. We are all human and suffer epic fails and celebrate amazing successes. You will have fun, learn and ton, and walk away with new skills you never thought possible. See you soon!
